Darling St Practice is unable to provide emergency support, and this list below is provided for your reference should you need support in between sessions.

1800 511 Mental Health Line is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is the main point of access into public mental health services. The line is staffed by trained and experienced mental health clinicians who can provide support, information, advice and referral to acute care teams where appropriate.

  • Lifeline 13 11 14 provides nationwide support for people experiencing emotional distress with access to 24 hr crisis support and suicide prevention services.

  • Suicide Call Back Service 1300 659 467 provides free 24/7 online counselling, telephone and video services for anyone affected by suicide or suicide thoughts

  • Beyond Blue 1300 22 46 36 provides information and support to help people achieve their best possible mental health, wherever they live and whatever they’re experiencing

  • MensLine 1300 78 99 78 provides free, 24/7 counselling support for men with concerns about mental health, anger management, family violence (using or experiencing), addiction, stress and wellbeing

  • Kids Helpline 1800 55 1800 is a free, confidential phone counselling service for people aged 5-25yrs
